chrome-nickel chimney inserts

Chimney inserts made of 1.4404 acid resistant steel
Chimney inserts made of 1.4404 acid resistant steel are designed for installation in an existing ceramic chimney in order to protect it against the influence of acid condensate arising in the process of gas or fuel oil combustion. The inserts protect the chimney ducts extracting combustion gases from gas- or oil-fired boilers to a max 500°C operational temperature. They can be used in housing and industry. Elements of the system are joined longitudinally by plasma-arc welding. Material: 1.4404 acc. to DIN17441, thickness: 0.5mm for Ø80-Ø130, 0.6mm for Ø140-Ø500, 60mm pipe socket connections. Guarantee: 5 years.

A typical system made of acid resistant steel consists of the following single-wall details, in the range of diameters from 80mm to 500mm:
  • Straight pipe 250, 500, 1000mm
  • Chimney roof
  • Water proof collar
  • Roof plate
  • 90° or 45° T-connection
  • Cleaning element
  • Hatch
  • Drainage bowl
  • Adjustable knee, permanent knee, permanent knee with access eye
  • Adapter (reducer)
Chimney inserts made of 1.4828 heat resisting steel
Chimney inserts made of 1.4828 heat resisting steel are designed for extracting combustion gases from fireplaces or wood-fired furnaces. Sheet metal thickness: 0.8 mm or 1.0 mm. Components of the system are joined longitudinally by plasma-arc welding.
Chimney inserts made of 1.4828 heat resisting steel, of oval cross-section
Oval chimney inserts are mainly used in typical, brick-made chimney ducts of 140x270 mm dimensions, where installation of round inserts would significantly reduce area of their cross-section.
